Nicholas Kuehn
Nick is a former landman with both field and in-house experience. For the past fourteen years, Nick has been practicing oil & gas law. Nick has tremendous experience advising clients and providing strategic counsel on oil & gas transactions. Such experience is extensive in terms of both the volume of transactions as well as the length of time providing counsel on such transactions. Additionally, Nick has performed complex title examinations for large publicly traded companies and small independents alike.
Nick has extensive experience acquiring and divesting mineral and royalty interests throughout most major basins, with a focus on minerals situated in Texas and Louisiana. This experience has resulted in Nick possessing a high-level expertise relating to negotiating, structuring, and drafting oil & gas contracts.
- 2021 to present: Nick has managed and facilitated over 1000 mineral and royalty transactions, including drafting purchase and sale agreements, due diligence review, title examination and drafting curative and conveyance documents.
- 2022 calendar year: Facilitated the deployment of approximately $50 million dollars through a strategic partnership with a boutique mineral company based in Austin, Texas. Nick negotiated over 130 acquisition purchase and sale agreements; completed due diligence (including title examination); managed and ultimately closed on over 6,800 net royalty acres in the Louisiana Haynesville situated in Caddo, DeSoto, Bossier, Bienville, Red River and Sabine Parishes.
